It's heading towards sunset on a glorious summer's evening and I'm standing on the dam at Alwen reservoir on the high Denbigh Moors in North Wales watching as the sky catches fire in the warm sunlight, reflected below me in the still waters of the manmade lake.
On an evening like this where else would you want to be?
But of course, I'm not just watching the sunset develop, as beside me, firmly mounted on its tripod, my camera is clicking away every few seconds, recording the hundreds of still images that I need to make my Alwen Reservoir Timelapse #5 video.
Time passes and the light and colour fade from the sky as the stillness of twilight settles over the landscape.
Finally time to head for home then, at peace having just stood and immersed myself in God's creation in a beautiful part of the world.
