Some views are just timeless.
I first visited South Stack lighthouse on the northwestern tip of Anglesey on the North Wales coast with my father when I was around ten years old, and we had a tour right to the top of the tower to have a look at the rotating light.
My ten year old self was most impressed, and my hem-hem year old self remains equally impressed, but more with the view than the light mechanism.
And that iconic view out over the Irish Sea hasn't changed at all over all those years.
But what does change, on a minute by minute basis, is the weather and the light, which is why I keep on coming back to photograph this unchanging, but always fresh, view time after time.
On this particular evening at the end of May 2007 we were treated to a beautiful sunset, casting golden colours through the cloud deckled skies, and I filled my photographic boots for half an hour as the daylight slowly ebbed away into the onset of night.
