One of the loveliest places that Liz and I visited during our week long stay on the southwest Atlantic coast of Ireland was Ardmore.
We came here twice, with the first visit being spent sat firmly in the car as four seasons' worth of weather arrived in the space of half an hour.
You can watch this amazing weather on my time lapse video looking over Ardmore beach to get some idea of why we didn't venture out!
However, with an improvement in the weather we made a second effort to explore this seaside town, under much more pleasureable, if less dramatic, conditions.
This is the view looking along the beach, and this snapshot is made into something more by the high altitude cirrus clouds fanning out towards my viewpoint, which add both dynamism and structure to the composition.
