For a couple of weeks a year, in late spring, the woods in Moss Valley, near Wrexham in North Wales, burst into colour as fresh bluebells emerge to carpet the steep tree-lined slopes.
With early morning sun filtering through the trees, and with birdsong echoing around the valley, it's a wonderful experience just to sit, watch, listen and smell the new life that this time of year brings.
The click of my camera's shutter as I try and do some justice to the scene laid out before me seems an unwelcome intrusion into the peace and quiet of this natural cathedral.
But I do want something to remember this ethereal experience with, and a photograph, although only a visual reminder, still has the power to take me back to that serene morning in the woods of Moss Valley.
