The story behind this image

The golden light of the evening sun was splashing over the ochre cliffs at Church Bay on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey as my wife Liz and I picked our way across the rock strewn beach towards the shoreline to dip our toes briefly in the chilly waters of the Irish Sea.

The outgoing tide had left a sheen of water on the undulating sands, and the shing wet beach catching reflections of the sunlit cliffs like a mirror.

Time to stop heading seawards then and unlimber the camera to capture this fleeting moment of beauty before the sun sinks into the usual bank of haze along the western horizon.

Church Bay, and indeed the whole of the Anglesey coast is just a sensory delight, and I'll never get tired of wandering the shoreline and cliffs soaking in the astonishing beauty to be found here.
