This stunning view northwards along the Adriatic coast of Croatia overlooking the seaside resort of Primosten greeted my wife Liz and I at the end of a bumpy drive and climb up to the 'Our Lady of Loretto' monument at the top of a small mountain.
Good job there were loos and a cafe at this amazing viewpoint!
Anyhow, I wasn't going to let all the effort of getting up here go to waste, so I was soon busy with camera and tripod in order to capture that wonderful moment when the natural light of day gave way to the twilight of night and the light left in the sky balanced with the artificial lights of Primosten below.
In fact, we were so taken with this view that we made two trips up here, capturing this panoramic collage on the first occasion and then taking the hundreds of frames needed to make my Croatia Primosten Timelapse #1 video on the second visit.
