The story behind this image

The town of Cromer on the North Sea coast of Nofolk, England, must be one of the most quintessential seasides spots in Britain.

The standout feature of the town is its iconic pier, the centrepiece of the lovely esplanade fronting a shingle beach.

So naturally enough, my camera's lens was trained in the direction of the pier quite a lot during our week long holiday here in early summer 2018.

Such as this panoramic image of the pier and fish and chip shop, taken in neon lit glow of twilight.

You can't get much more 'British seaside' than this!
