During our two week holiday spent exploring the beautiful, dramatic landscapes and coastlines of Devon and Cornwall my wife Liz and I set aside a day to drive and hike in the Dartmoor National Park.
The day we chose for our adventure was one of mixed weather to put it mildly, with sharp showers tracking across the landscape, interspersed with bright sunlight in an ever changing atmospheric dance that was very exciting to watch and be out in!
One of the first places we stopped to admire the scenery was near the small village of Two Bridges.
With heavy storm clouds tracking by overhead the view was typical of the wild and rugged Dartmoor we were expecting - and we weren't disappointed!
