During our two week holiday spent exploring the beauties of Devon and Cornwall landscape and coastal scenery there were one or two locations that really took our breath away.
One such was the magnificent coastline at Hartland Quay on the Atlantic coast of North Devon, and we made several visits here in a variety of light, weather and tide conditions.
On this occasion we took a hike along the coastal path from Hartland Quay to Speke's Mill Mouth Waterfall, which followed the top of the huge cliffs southwards and gave great views out over the exposed shoreline rock formations, only visible at low tide.
The hike proved quite challenging, but we did stop regularly to take photos!
