A walk on the Wales coastal path at Deeside took my wife Liz and I along the river Dee estuary as far as the newly painted Hawarden railway bridge.
It was a beautiful afternoon in early June, so we stopped for a while to admire the views and soak in the warmth of the sun while I went off looking for unusual viewpoints to photograph the bridge structure from.
Climbing up onto the bridge gave me this view out over the river to the iconic John Summers steelworks main office, with the sweep of the bridge leading the viewers eye through the composition.
