A hidden gem on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, this is the beach at Llanddona on the eastern side of the island.
Accessed down a steep and winding single track road, not many people make the effort to get here, and the huge sandy beach is sparsely populated, even in the middle of the summer holidays which is when my wife Liz and I visited during a brief easing of Coronavirus lockdown restrictions in Wales.
And what more iconic a vehicle to enjoy the great welsh outdoors in than an original VW campervan.
Parked up on the stones just off the beach, I couldn't resist a photo of such a relic of times past, still being enjoyed today.
