A late October day of dramatic weather over the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales ended in a wonderful display of light, colour and reflections.
And I was on hand, wrapped up warm and perched on a slippery rock just off the shore of Llyn Mymbyr, to watch and photograph as day faded to night over the peaks of the Snowdon Horseshoe range on the distant horizon.
I was here to shoot the hundreds of still images needed to create my Llyn Mymbyr Timelapse #14 video, capturing the drama and beauty of this most wonderful part of the world.
Well I wasn't disappointed, and I even got to enjoy some fantastic reflections in the surface of the lake as the breezes of the day grew still and the world held its breath as day faded into night.
This individual image is one of those hundreds taken for the time lapse sequence, chosen for the dramatically lit clouds and their near perfect reflections in the calm surface of Llyn Mymbyr.
No doubt I'll be back to do it all again on another stunning Snowdonia evening, as I just can't keep away from this amazing location!
