Driving around the Serra de Tramuntana mountains on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca isn't for those of a nervous disposition.
This narrow cleft is on the Ma-2141 as it winds its way down from the heights through seemingly endless hairpin bends to the quiet seaside resort of sa Calobra on the western coast.
Fortunately there was a handy lay-by just up the road so we could stop for me to take this photo, otherwise stopping for photography on this road would be out of the question.
