Dusk at the end of a beautiful mid-winter's day on the Menai Straits, that incredible body of water that separates the Isle of Anglesey from the North Wales coast.
Away to the southwest the evening sky glows orange and gold against the mountains of the Llyn Peninsula, stretching away into the Irish Sea, while along the shoreline at my feet the quiet waters of the Straits pick up the cool blue tones of the twilight sky overhead.
Such a glorious combination of colour and light can't be ignored, so it's out with my camera and tripod to capture the last few images of the day before finally packing everything away for the drive home with my wife Liz.
How blessed we are to live within an easy drive of such unspoilt beauty!
