This is the suspension bridge over the Menai Straits, joining the island of Anglesey to the North Wales mainland.
Designed and built by Thomas Telford, this is the first ever suspension bridge in the world, but technicalities aside it's just so beautiful.
Not only is it a very graceful piece of engineering, but it's set in one of the most stunning locations to be found anywhere.
Most photos of the bridge that you find on the internet are taken from the overlook on the A5 by the side of the Straits, as are most of mine.
But looking for a different angle, I took the small side road that passes directly under the bridge right next to the water, which gave me this more unusual view of the bridge's graceful structure.
The small yacht, passing under the main span, was an added bonus!
