The story behind this image

The west coast of the Isle of Anglesey, just off the North Wales coast, it dotted with lovely little coves and beaches, carved out of the surrounding rocky headlands by countless generations of wind, sea and tide.

Porth Trecastell, just along the coast from the popular seaside village of Aberffraw, is a prime example, and a lovely spot for a paddle or a hike on the surrounding cliffs.

This view is from the rocky foreshore, just out from the beach at the base of the surrounding cliffs at Porth Trecastell, taken on a lovely sunny evening in the summer of 2017.
