With a chill winter breeze cooling one's extremities, a walk along the beach at Prestatyn on the North Wales coast was always going to be a bracing affair!
But the need to get some fresh air and exercise overcame the aversion to the cold, and I'm glad it did as, with the tide fully out there were some interesting features to photograph as we marched along.
Such as this tidal pool outflow stream cutting a channel through the sand next to an anchored marker post exposed at low tide.
