Rhossili Beach #1

Photo overlooking Rhossili Beach, Gower Peninsula, South Wales coast

The story behind this image

On our whistle stop two day tour of the Gower Peninsula on the South Wales coast, Liz and I had to be pretty selective about where we visited.

But top of our 'go to' list was Rhossili Beach.

I'd never been here before, but Liz had and assured me it was worth the car park fee.

Well she wasn't wrong, with stunning views from the cliffs above down onto a huge and virtually deserted swathe of pristine wave washed sand.

The weather was great too, with a refreshing breeze wafting light cumulus clouds overhead while their shadows raced across the flat sands below.

The view was so lovely that, in addition to taking many, many still photos I also created a time lapse video of Rhossili Beach, and a real time video as well, just to get the full hit!
