The Snowdonia National Park in North Wales boasts some magnificent scenery, and magnificent weather!
Put the two together and you have the recipe for some truly spectacular photography.
Such as a series of images I captured overlooking the stunning Llyn Ogwen at sunrise very early in the morning in late May 2007.
With just a glimmer of sunlight seeping through a crack in the storm clouds swirling over the high peaks of the Glyderau and Carneddau mountains, I watched entranced at the drama being played out before my eyes (and my camera's lens, of course).
I stayed in this wonderful spot as long as I could before finally, and very reluctantly, packing my gear away and heading off to work.
