The story behind this image

Trearddur Bay, on the northwest coast of the beautiful Isle of Anglesey on the North Wales coast, is one of the more heavily developed of the seaside towns in this part of the world.

Therefore, when my wife Liz and I visit Anglesey, Trearddur Bay is a place we usually pass through on our way to less frequented spots.

However, on a chilly bright day in early April 2017 we decided to stop here for a meal at tea time and have a quick look around, camera in hand of course.

Needless to say, the quick look around developed into quite and extensive exploring and photography session, taking advantage of the nearly deserted beach and promenade.

This image shows a view along the promenade, taking advantage of the sweeping blue railings acting as a frame for the buildings on the far side of the beach.

Not a bad couple of hours' work, and the meal in the Sea Shanty cafe was great too.
