Voted Britain's favourite mountain, this is the inimitable Tryfan in the Glyderau range, part of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales.
This view of the mountain was captured along the path from the Gylders visitor centre to Llyn Idwal, and features some of the wild terrain in this part of the park, with Tryfan in the backgorund.
Photographed on a beautiful spring afternoon, my wife Liz and I certainly enjoyed our day out hiking in the mountains.
