Voted Britain's favourite mountain, this is the inimitable Tryfan in the Glyderau range, part of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales.
This view of the mountain was captured from the path between the visitors' centre and Llyn Idwal, and uses that irregular stone path as a leading line to guide the viewer's eye to Tryfan in the background.
Photographed on a beautiful spring afternoon, my wife Liz and I certainly enjoyed our day out hiking in the mountains.
