An overcast and drizzly November day found my wife Liz and I heading to Lake Vrynwy, North Wales.
Just before we reached the lake we drove past this wonderful, dilapidated old farm, with this almost fallen down wooden shed right next to road.
I find dereliction like this absolutely entrancing, so it was a quick park of the car and I was out with my camera to capture a few images before carrying onto Vyrnwy.
Back home, with the images imported into Adobe Lightroom, I decided on a monochrome approach to enhance the mood of quiet neglect, adding a bit of a vignette, some grain and a warm tone to help things along.
All in all I'm very content with how the final images turned out, certainly conveying the ambiance of the day.
