Large Atlantic rollers pound the shoreline at high tide at Crackington Haven on the North Cornwall coast as I stand, eyes streaming, in the stiff onshore breeze holding my tripod down as I shoot a few seconds of video before my camera's optics become coated in salt spray.
My wife Liz and I enjoyed two weeks holiday in this glorious part of the country, visiting Crackington Haven and other secluded coastal spots during our stay.
This stretch of coast, being west facing, is just great for watching and filming dramatic sunsets, and this particular evening we were treated to a brilliant display of light, colour and wild Cornish weather.
Mind you, I had to wash my filter under hot water to get the salt off after I'd finished!
