A week's holiday at Cromer on the North Sea coast of Norfolk gave me some great opportunities for shooting timelaspe videos featuring the famous pier.
A check of the local tide times, weather forecast and sunrise time and direction had me getting out of bed at 4am to catch the tide coming in up the beach as the sun slowly rose behind the pier to the northwest.
A layer of cloud helped take the edge off the sun's brightness, allowing me to capture nice detail in the darker areas of the scene.
All in all, a lovely early morning's shoot, and then back to the hotel for breakfast.
Now that's what i call a good holiday!
