During the week long holiday on Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands that my wife Liz and I enjoyed in late February 2019 we stayed in the south coast resort town of Taurito.
Our hotel was quite high up on the cliff face, with a balcony that looked out over the far side of the bay.
Although the scenery on view didn't comprise the natural, unspoilt beauty of the island's interior, I still made the effort to shoot a few time lapse video sequences, picking out interesting changes in lighting over the manmade landscapes in view.
This particular time lapse shows the resort hotels on the far side of Taurito, slowly being revealed by the early morning sun as it rose higher in the sky behind my shooting position, sending a band of light down the side of the hill and hotels.
