One of my favourite views (out of many) in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales.
This is the scene that greets you looking up the length of Llyn Padarn by the town of Llanberis towards Snowdon and its surrounding peaks.
Shrouded in winter snow, the scene was picture postcard perfect to begin with, with the mountains reflecting in the mirror-like surfce of the lake.
But after just a few minutes of shooting the rain started, ending those reflections and sending me scurrying back to my car for an umbrella to try and keep my filter clear of spots for the rest of the shoot.
So, not exactly what I had hoped for, but that's very much the nature and appeal of outdoor photography, isn't it?
