For our holiday in the summer of 2019 my wife Liz and I decided to explore the beautiful countryside and coasts of Devon and Cornwall in the southwest of England.
Based near Bude, most of our time was spent driving around the stunning coastal locations on the north coast, but we did spend a couple of days venturing further south to have a look at the pretty fishing villages and towns along the south Cornwall coast.
Liz remembered holidaying there as a child with her parents, now desceased, and wanted to re-visit the region to see how much had changed.
The answer was - not much!
The old fishing ports we visited still retained much of their olde worlde charm and friendliness, together with a remnant of their original fishing fleets.
One of the nicest places we stopped at for a pastie and a stroll around the harbour was Looe, featured in this video on a lovely sunny September day with the harbour full of small boats on an ebbing tide.
Once I'd finished shooting this video I then took a few hundred still images at the same spot to make my Looe Timelapse #1 video before we finally tore ourselves away and onto our next destination.
