A winter's drive around beautiful Powys wouldn't be complete without a trip to Britain's highest single drop waterfall at Pistyll Rhaeadr.
Mind you, I think winter is the best time to visit, as there's plenty of water flowing and, more importantly, there aren't the hundreds of visitors all trying to drive down the long single track road to get there, or queueing up to try and photograph the falls in what is quite a narrow canyon.
So, having the falls to myself, I took full advantage, perching on a slippery rock in the middle of the stream to shoot a series of still images, followed by this real time video and finished off with a 360° panorama.
Unbeknown to me however, my wife Liz as busy photographing me while I was pirouetting around trying not to fall in!
Maybe I'll use one of her photos for a profile piccy!
