I love it when Liz and I discover somewhere new, somewhere we've heard about but never been.
Such was the case towards the end of July 2020, when found ourselves at Trawsfynydd.
We'd driven past the village, lake and famous Magnox nuclear power station on many occasions, but never stopped for some reason.
However this time we did, pulling into a car park by the side of Llyn Trawsfynydd, complete with cafe and facilities for the anglers who frequent this end of the lake.
But we were more interested in the scenery, and so after a fortifying cup of coffee from the cafe we took ourselves on a walk along the lakeside path.
In the end we made it as far as the fascinating Maentwrog dam, with me shooting stills, time lapse and videos as we went along.
This video is a compilation of three real time videos that I captured, featuring some of the lovely views we enjoyed on our walk.
